What is Geopedi?
Geopedi is a technology company building verification infrastructure for regulated supply chains. It makes product and supply-chain claims — origin, process, certificates — independently verifiable, selectively shareable and portable into a Digital Product Passport. Our verification engine was first proven on geographical indication food products; Texprove carries the same infrastructure into textile compliance and EU Digital Product Passport requirements. Geopedi Hub adds the training and consultancy layer for the industry.
Geopedi takes its name from the words “Geographical” and “Pedigree”. It was created to reveal the unique stories and origins behind products, and to make visible the quality, authenticity, and distinctiveness that geographical indications represent.
Through a unique digital identity and QR code system created for each geographical indication, the journey from producer to consumer is made visible with provable data.
Subsequently, within the framework of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) legal requirement, it evolved into a comprehensive traceability software with modules tailored to sectoral and legal requirements — primarily in food, textiles, and cosmetics, sectors whose raw materials come from agriculture.
