How do I register a product on Geopedi? Is it difficult to register and generate a QR code?
Geopedi is web-based, so it can be used directly from a browser without any app download. You proceed by filling in product information through a step-by-step form. The platform is user-friendly and very practical to use. Products are added to the system by the registration holder, who also manages the audit process. When an audit request is submitted by selecting a registered product, the relevant audit units are assigned. After audit approval, generating a QR code is very easy. QR codes can be generated digitally in Excel or PDF format, or in a format compatible with label printers and handheld devices.
Is our data secure? Is blockchain truly safe?
Yes. Geopedi stores your product data on a decentralized blockchain. By its very nature, records stored on a blockchain cannot be altered after the fact. Your data on the blockchain is also protected through encryption. As a result, no information entered into the system can proceed without verification — giving both producers and consumers access to reliable data.
How does Geopedi help with exports? How is compliance with EU regulations ensured?
It enables you to label your products in compliance with the EU's Geographical Indications Regulation No. 2024/1143, ensuring traceability.
